Fania Davis
Fania E. Davis, Ph.D., founding Director of Restorative Justice of Oakland Youth (RJOY), is a renowned, multi-award winning social justice activist, civil rights trial attorney, writer, professor, and scholar. One of the nation’s leading Restorative Justice advocates, Fania came of age in Birmingham in the 1960s and was prominently active for decades in the Civil Rights, Black liberation, women's, prisoners', peace, anti-racial violence and anti-apartheid movements.
