Mohamad A. Chakaki, a Senior Fellow at both the Center for Whole Communities and the Environmental Leadership Program and a co-founder of the DC Green Muslims Network, has worked with the Peace Corps in Central Africa, the U.N. in Syria, and numerous environmental planning and community development projects in the U.S. and in the Middle East.
